20 years after quitting racing, in 1994, at 48, RAEL does a come back in
racing in Japan pushed by Raelian members who wish to see him racing again,
they create for this purpose the RAEL RACING TEAM which help RAEL to race
without using the movement money.
In October 1974, after meeting with the Elohim, Rael followed their
recommendation to quit racing and devote his life to the spreading of their
Messages. At the time, he had been planning to start a Formula 3 racing season,
just a step away from his ultimate goal, Formula 1. But his decision was made:
he cancelled all racing events and thereafter dedicated himself to the mission
of the Elohim.
